Draycott Hall was built in the late 18th century for Sir George Denys, who made his money from income from the local lead mines. Interesting remains of the mining may be seen on walks at Grinton and along Fremington Edge, which rises steeply behind the village.
The centrally heated cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. The front door is reached from a private courtyard and behind the cottage, facing west, is a charming, enclosed garden and patio.
